Horn buttons are mainly a Victorian natural material. The most beautiful buttons of this group are the finely moulded buttons from the 19th century. Designs may include flora and fauna, as well as geometric patterns and portraits of heads in high relief. Some buttons have backmarks of British or French manufacturers. We sell these buttons individually at a cost of £4.00- £25 per button, depending upon size and design.

Pearl buttons have the most beautiful lustre and this is seen perfectly on the beautifully incised pearl buttons of the 19th century. These buttons truly reflect the consummate skill of the Victorian engravers. We also sell pearl buttons from the 1930's with their emphasis on bold geometric designs and shapes. Finally, we also stock Victorian mother-of-pearl buttons with delicately incised designs. We sell these lovely buttons at £5-£25 depending on size, age and intricacy of design.
